Semax is the heptapeptide Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro, an analogue of the ACTH(4-10) fragment that lacks ACTH hormonal activity. How to reconstitute Semax?
Let the vial reach room temperature, swab the stopper, and send the bacteriostatic water down the inside wall rather than straight onto the cake. Swirl until the solution runs clear, never shake. The volume you pick is what fixes the concentration: for the 5mg vial, 1ml gives 5 mg/ml, 2ml gives 2.5 mg/ml, 3ml gives 1.67 mg/ml, 5ml gives 1 mg/ml.
How to reconstitute Semax 10mg?
The 10mg dissolves at whatever concentration the volume sets: 1ml gives 10 mg/ml, 2ml gives 5 mg/ml, 3ml gives 3.33 mg/ml, 5ml gives 2 mg/ml. We offer Semax in 5mg, and the arithmetic holds whichever vial it is: milligrams on the label divided by millilitres added.
How should it be handled?
- Let a cold vial warm to room temperature before you add anything.
- Wipe the stopper with an alcohol swab ahead of each entry.

- Give the cake several minutes to dissolve. A finished solution is clear.
