What has KPV been studied for?

For KPV the published record stops short of the clinic. None of the citations below report a human trial. Here is what each paper set out to examine, sorted by the model it relied on:

Animal and in-vitro work

  • Melanocortin-derived tripeptide KPV has anti-inflammatory potential in murine models of inflammatory bowel disease, Mouse, DSS colitis and CD45RB-hi transfer colitis (PMID 18092346)
  • PepT1-mediated tripeptide KPV uptake reduces intestinal inflammation, Mouse, DSS- and TNBS-induced colitis (PMID 18061177)

Each line records what a study looked at. None of it asserts an outcome in a person, and nothing on this site amounts to guidance on use.

How do you order?

Pick a strength from the list above, drop it into your basket and proceed to checkout. Setting up an account is not needed. A confirmation lands straight away and the payment details follow by email; no charge is taken on the site itself.

Why does UK stock matter?

Order KPV here and it departs from within the United Kingdom. Nothing clears customs, no charge is levied on import and there is no overseas leg to wait through; an order in before 2pm on a working day goes out the same day on a tracked service, and the outer packaging says nothing about what is inside.

Reconstituting KPV

KPV arrives as lyophilised powder. Adding bacteriostatic water brings it into solution, and the volume you add fixes the concentration. The vial holds what the label states whatever volume you choose.

5.00 mg/mlConcentration
0.100 mlHolds 0.5mg
10.0 unitsOn a U-100 syringe
50 mcgPer unit of that syringe

Concentrations and volumes only. This site puts out no dosage, protocol or administration guidance, and no figure here is any of those.

Preset for 10mg and 2ml. Change either and the figures follow. The full reconstitution calculator handles syringe units, which water to reach for and how long a made-up vial lasts.

Concentration by vial size and water added
Vial+ 1ml+ 2ml+ 3ml+ 5ml
10mg 10 mg/ml5 mg/ml3.33 mg/ml2 mg/ml

Worked example: a 10mg vial with 2ml of bacteriostatic water comes to 5 mg/ml. Divide the milligrams on the label by the millilitres you add. These are concentrations, not doses; this site puts out no dosage, protocol or administration guidance.

How should it be handled?

  • Let a cold vial warm to room temperature before you add anything.
  • Wipe the stopper with an alcohol swab ahead of each entry.
  • Send the water down the inside wall of the vial rather than onto the powder.
  • Swirl gently. Do not shake, since foaming is protein damage you can see.
  • Give the cake several minutes to dissolve. A finished solution is clear.

Storing KPV

Sealed vialCool, dry and away from direct light. A freezer suits long holding.
Once reconstitutedRefrigerated, upright, out of light. Never freeze a solution.
CapsulesCool, dry and sealed. Refrigeration not needed.

How long does it keep?

General figures for a lyophilised peptide
Stored asKeeps for
Sealed, frozen at −20 °CYears, the longest-lasting state for a lyophilised peptide
Sealed, refrigerated at 2–8 °CMonths
Sealed, at room temperatureWeeks. Fine for transit, not for keeping
Reconstituted, refrigeratedWeeks rather than months. Around four weeks is the figure usually worked to with bacteriostatic water, which is what the preservative is there for
Reconstituted, frozenNot advised, ice crystals damage peptides, and repeated freeze–thaw cycles add to it

These are the general figures for lyophilised peptides, not a tested result for one particular batch. Dry and cold is what draws it out; water, warmth, light and agitation are what cut it short. The batch certificate of analysis can be requested.

KPV is provided as an unlicensed research compound, for laboratory research use only. No UK marketing authorisation covers it, it is not a licensed medicine, and it is not offered for human use, veterinary use or use in food.

Compounds of this sort are not controlled drugs, and selling them as laboratory materials breaks no law. Offering or promoting them for human use is the part that does, and that is why not one page on this site sets out a dose, a protocol, a route, a frequency or a medical claim. Nor will we hand one over by email.

A number of compounds in this range share a molecule with a licensed medicine marketed under a brand name. The authorisation attaches to that finished product and travels no further than it, not to the molecule. Full terms.

Research use only. Incrementin provides compounds for use in laboratory research. None of what we sell is a licensed medicine, we do not operate as a pharmacy, and we put out no dosage, protocol or administration guidance. Not for use in humans or animals, and not for use in food.

KPV questions

What formats do you stock?

We keep a 10mg lyophilised vial and capsules.

What is KPV peptide?

KPV is provided here as an unlicensed research compound for laboratory research use only, at ≥99% purity determined by HPLC. Its specification and the published research standing behind it are laid out on this page.

Where can I buy KPV in the UK?

KPV is available to buy in the UK from incrementins.co.uk, from £21.99, a single 10mg size, as capsules and vials. It ships within the country, which takes away the two things that hold up a peptide order most: clearance queues and seizure at the border. The larger sizes come out cheaper per milligram, £2.20/mg at the best rate against £2.20/mg at the smallest, and each size displays its own figure. It arrives as lyophilised powder, so you fix the concentration when you reconstitute it. It also features in 1 other product on the site. Order before 2pm on a working day and it leaves the same day, tracked, in plain packaging. Every batch is third-party tested to ≥99% purity by HPLC with a certificate available for your batch, see how to order.

How much does KPV cost?

From £21.99 for the 10mg, £2.20 per mg. That is 2 options, each priced on its own with its own rate per milligram. Delivery is £4.95, free over £75.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to KPV?

The volume fixes the concentration, so it is a choice rather than a set figure. For the 10mg vial: 1ml gives 10 mg/ml, 2ml gives 5 mg/ml, 3ml gives 3.33 mg/ml. The vial holds 10mg whatever volume you add. This is a concentration, not a dose.

How should KPV be stored?

Sealed as lyophilised powder it lasts for years at −20 °C, months refrigerated at 2–8 °C, and weeks at room temperature; dry and cold is what draws it out. Once reconstituted it belongs in a fridge, upright, and is usually worked to around four weeks with bacteriostatic water. Never freeze a solution: ice crystals damage peptides and repeated freeze–thaw cycles make it worse.

Is KPV FDA approved?

KPV is provided as an unlicensed research compound for laboratory research use only. No UK marketing authorisation covers it, it is not a licensed medicine, and it is not provided for human or veterinary use. We are not a pharmacy.

What purity is your KPV, and can I see a certificate?

≥99%, determined by HPLC. A certificate of analysis for the batch you were sent can be requested against the batch number printed on the label, and we can let you know what current stock shows before you order.
